Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Norwalk, Connecticut

Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role primarily involves providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in both Spanish and English across various communication channels. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, resolving issues, and assisting with inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and policies in both Spanish and English

• Assist customers in placing orders, tracking shipments, processing returns, and resolving product-related issues

• Identify and address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and offer effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and escalate problems as needed

• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels in both Spanish and English

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback

• Update customer profiles and databases with relevant information

• Stay informed about product features, updates, and changes to provide accurate information to customers

• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to enhance overall customer service and share valuable insights

• Act as a language resource within the team, supporting colleagues with translation and interpretation when necessary

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as CRM systems

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• Experience in a call center or contact center environment

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

• Ability to adapt to different personalities and scenarios

• Excellent listening skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to meet performance standards and goals

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Willingness to improve and learn new skills

• Experience handling inbound calls in a professional manner

• High level of patience and ability to empathize with customer needs.
