Robert Half Customer Experience Specialist in Novi, Michigan

Description We are seeking to fill the role of a Customer Experience Specialist in Novi, Michigan. The primary function of this role is to provide comprehensive customer service in the machine tools and laser cutting industry. This role involves coordinating with internal teams for installations, spare parts, and service ticket creation while maintaining constant communication between divisions. This role operates in an office setting and is a contract-based employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the correct service tech for installations and spare parts.

• Directing customer inquiries to the appropriate internal team.

• Providing updated service tickets and informing the customer about the issue and where the call needs to go.

• Ordering new machines and creating service tickets.

• Monitoring service tickets and contacting the correct internal teams.

• Handling a combination of inbound and outbound calls.

• Using CRM, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for data entry and customer account management.

• Leveraging MS Office and MS Word for efficient workflow.

• Managing customer invoices and order entries.

• Maintaining effective interpersonal relationships within the team.

• Handling export customer service and inbound outbound calls. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Excel, and SAP Basis

• Experience with customer account management, customer service, and data entry

• Familiarity with order entry and export customer service operations

• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Word

• Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls

• Knowledge of customer invoices processing

• Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

• Proactive and customer-focused approach

• Ability to handle difficult customers in a calm and professional manner.
