Robert Half Mobile Device Support Analyst in Novi, Michigan

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Mobile Device Support Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Novi, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with training internal employees and overseeing our enterprise mobility solutions, managing mobile devices, and supporting end users. You'll also liaise with third-party vendors and ensure lifecycle management of various devices.

Responsibilities:

• Train internal team members to manage an MDM environment and oversee the management of mobile devices using tools such as AirWatch, Intune, and SOTI

• Manage VoIP systems cloud and on prem

• Interface with third-party vendor support as necessary, and oversee the purchase and renewal of licenses for related equipment and services

• Provide end-user support for mobile devices and troubleshoot any issues

• Oversee the lifecycle management of various devices, including cellphones, handheld scanners, tablets, and desk phones

• Manage the procurement, setup, upgrading, troubleshooting, replacement, and retiring of devices

• Conduct audits of device configuration to ensure optimal performance

• Handle the lifecycle management of our VoIP system, including procurement and upgrading of desk phones

• Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and walk-ups to provide support to end users

• Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals for reference

• Travel to other sites as required to perform evaluations of systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Mobile Device Support Analyst role or similar

• Proficient in supporting Apple, iOS, and Android devices

• Hands-on experience with Intune and Mobile Device Management

• Familiarity with Intune and AirWatch or SOTI

• Experience in supporting a manufacturing environment

• Experience with VoIP System

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and travel to site locations as needed to train team members

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong commitment to customer service and quality

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
