Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Oak Brook, Illinois

Description We are seeking a meticulous and driven Attorney/Lawyer in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in OAK BROOK, Illinois. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves working with securities law, reviewing SAAS agreements, and understanding cyber security frameworks. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking with a focus on prioritization.

Responsibilities:

• Work flexibly and open-mindedly, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Apply basic knowledge of securities law in day-to-day tasks, utilizing exemptions and BlueSky

• Review SAAS agreements and provide legal insight and advice

• Understand and apply knowledge of cyber security frameworks in the review of agreements

• Prepare ancillary documents and marketing materials for private placement securities

• Collaborate with outside counsel on legal matters

• Utilize legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System for efficient work processes

• Handle legal documentation and complaint administration proficiently

• Showcase strong briefing skills and claim administration capabilities in everyday tasks. Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Must be admitted to the state bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in the state

• Should have proficiency in using legal software such as LexisNexis, 3M, and Case Management Software

• Should have experience with management systems

• Must possess strong skills in briefing, claim administration, and complaint handling

• Should have excellent documentation skills with attention to detail

• Prior experience in the real estate and property industry is preferred

• Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required

• Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to work independently and also as part of a team

• Must adhere to high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism at all times

• Familiarity with state and federal laws related to real estate and property is a plus.
