Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Oak Brook, Illinois
Description
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Tier 2 Help Desk Support specialist to join our client’s IT team onsite in Oakbrook, IL. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, providing a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate their skills and transition into a permanent position.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of IT support experience, have a background in Windows and Office 365 platforms, and possess expertise in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 issues with little to no supervision.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and innovative solutions to Level 2 IT issues.
Administer and support all Windows operating systems, Office 365, and SCCM.
Deliver high-level support for hardware and software issues.
Offer white glove service support to C-level executives and other VIPs.
Stay up-to-date and communicate any upgrades or general changes to the IT system.
Contribute to IT projects as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
Proficiency in Windows and Office 365.
Solid knowledge of SCCM and solid experience in software/hardware support.
Proven ability to resolve Tier 2 issues independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience in supporting C-level & executives with high-quality service.
Prior experience in the manufacturing/food industry is a big bonus.
Apple support experience is a definite plus.
