Robert Half Project Manager in Oak Brook, Illinois

Description We are in search of a Project Manager to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role is integral to our technology-focused operations, which involve coordinating cross-functional IT teams globally. The Project Manager will primarily handle the implementation of a CX technology platform and manage technical project milestones. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire project life cycle, ensuring planned results are achieved within set timelines.

• Develop and maintain the work breakdown structure of the project, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.

• Collaborate with the implementation team to lead the deployment of integrations/migrations from various systems.

• Coordinate with the Finance team to track project-related costs for budgeting purposes.

• Utilize PM software to manage project plans across multiple streams, including various technologies, systems, integration/migration specs, schedules, etc.

• Coordinate integration activities between the implementation team and local IT.

• Provide support to local countries in field mapping between systems.

• Act as the Global administrator of the platform and some legacy systems to manage user access, dashboards, and reporting.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in over 30 countries to support approximately 50 planned integrations with local CRM and ERP systems.

• Prepare charter, project status reports, and reporting by collecting, analyzing, and documenting IT requirements.

• Provide executive level updates to stakeholders and represent the team on IT project meetings and weekly updates with executive sponsors. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Project Management role or similar

• Proficient with CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Comprehensive understanding of budget processes and project budgets

• Proven track record of effectively managing project life cycles

• Experience in vendor management

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Capable of coordinating and managing complex projects

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
