Description Senior Project Managers might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Oak Brook, Illinois area. Key responsibilities

  • Verifies the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Confirm that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable

  • Directs deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner- Sets out project with right ticket workflows and boards

  • Drives project planning

  • Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Brings together figures from business analysts, QA leads, and technical leads into recommendations

  • Attends as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, clearing obstacles, and leading scrum ceremonies

  • Work in close cooperation with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

  • Assists the Product Owner/Product Manager to guarantee that the product vision and high-level business objectives are obvious and possible

  • Cooperates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

  • Supplies detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

  • Cooperates and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

  • Time blocks and presides the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments

  • Operates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Plans schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

  • Arranges the daily stand-ups, assuring they are focused, timely, and brief

  • Initiates and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Offers support to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests Requirements - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant Project Management experience

    • Candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools will be the best fit for this position
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory ability, strong operation and project management skills

    • This position requires a Project Management (PMP) certification
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

    • Familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

    • Experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Project Management Certification experience preferred
