Our client is seeking a permanent fulltime Contracts Manager to join their team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role is crucial in managing and administering federal and commercial prime contracts and subcontracts and will serve as the primary interface with customer Contracting Officers and team partners.

• Administer and manage federal and commercial prime contracts and subcontracts.

• Interpret contractual, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and other procurement regulations, providing effective compliance strategies.

• Review and negotiate various types of contracts, teaming and consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contract-related documents.

• Conduct contract reviews or audits, identifying variances or errors, ambiguous or undefined contract terms, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

• Prepare and review cost proposals for new and existing prime contracts in adherence to company policies and federal laws and regulations.

• Ensure all prime contract terms and conditions are flowed down to subcontracts.

• Coordinate or perform contract and subcontract administration tasks relating to compliance, performance, and progress.

• Advise program/project managers on contract terms, conditions, and resolution of complex issues.

• Maintain effective interfaces/relations with all intra-company functions.

• Understand and manage Contractor Purchasing System Review, contract closeout, government property administration, and purchasing system design and upgrades.

• Maintain original contracts and modifications electronically and ensure contract records are adequately and accurately maintained.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Contracts Manager role.

• Demonstrable experience with Federal Government Contracts and Government Contracts.

• Proficiency in Project Accounting is essential.

• Experience in preparing and handling Proposals - RFPs is required.

• Strong knowledge of Contract Administration is necessary.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.

• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• A good understanding of legal requirements involved in specific contracts.

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related field.

• Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrable leadership skills and experience managing a team would be advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Must possess excellent organizational skills.
