Description We are offering an opportunity for a Receptionist role within the Real Estate & Property industry. The position is based in OAKBROOK TERRACE, Illinois, United States. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for front desk responsibilities, client-facing customer service duties as well as administering and coordinating general office tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks which includes customer assistance, data entry, and record keeping
• Welcome and greet all guests of the firm and connect them with the appropriate party
• Schedule conference rooms, set up rooms, and coordinate catering
• Direct incoming company phone calls to the appropriate party
• Utilize the firm’s database systems for information inquiry
• Act as the point person for all employee physical office needs and requests
• Order all office supplies, maintain inventory, and obtain competitive pricing
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
• Prepare postage and tracking slips for all outgoing mail and overnight packages
• Provide administrative support on special projects as directed. Requirements • Proficiency in managing and answering multi-line phone systems
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional client experiences
• Experience with data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and effectively
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience in organizing files, both digital and physical, for easy access and retrieval
• Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of the real estate and property industry will be an added advantage.
