Description
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with over 5 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems. The successful candidate will be proficient in data modeling, indexing, query optimization, and data recovery. They should be skilled in ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical databases. The candidate must possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
Perform data modeling to design efficient database structures that meet business requirements.
Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries to improve efficiency and response times.
Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
Plan and execute data backup and recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
Develop and maintain scripts using T-SQL and PowerShell for automation and administration tasks.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations.
Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to optimize database performance and ensure smooth application deployments.
Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and reference.
Stay updated on latest SQL Server features, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve database management processes.
