Description

Responsibilities:

  • Complete data entry and collect transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank accounts.

  • Use QuickBooks Desktop and Order Time (Number Cruncher Sales Order Management and Inventory Reporting) spreadsheets and reports, and other databases to post up-to-date financial transactions.

  • Ensure Quick Books and Order Time records are reconciled and in balance monthly.

  • Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.

  • Maintain and monitor financial records for accuracy.

  • Reconcile or report any discrepancies in financial reports.

  • Produce or pay invoices for credit card bills or inventory orders.

  • Complete payroll.

  • Calculate and issue sales and sales reps commission payments.

  • Interface with external accounting firm.

  • Interface with bank, provide monthly and quarterly financials as required and coordinate the annual field examinations.

  • Prepare data for external tax preparation.

  • Insure proper internal controls

  • Documenting transactions, paying vendors, issuing customer invoices, generating reports, and recording accurate financial data.

  • Present the company’s business’s financial standing.

  • Build budgets, assess forecast cash flows needs, assess finances, and make business decisions.

    Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

CPA preferred but not necessary depending on years of experience

Proficient and/or Certified in QuickBooks Enterprise, Excel, Word, Power Point

Knowledge working with Order Time Software cloud-based inventory control, customer and order management system

Minimum 5-years, work experience in small to medium size businesses

Experience working with employee benefit programs

Experience working with insurance companies to annually review coverages

Excellent communications and organizational skills

Detail oriented

Analytical

Team player
