Description We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in Oakdale, Minnesota, 55128, United States. This role is centered around the healthcare services industry, where you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of medical billing activities. Your work will involve tasks such as Medicaid and Medicare billing, invoice processing, managing patient claims, and maintaining accounts receivable reports.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of Medicaid and Medicare bills
• Handle invoice processing activities accurately and efficiently
• Manage payer and patient claims to ensure proper resolution
• Maintain and update accounts receivable reports to track payments and outstanding debts
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and billing data
• Use MS Excel to manage and analyze billing data efficiently
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements in all billing activities
• Address and resolve any billing inquiries from customers promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Perform other assigned duties related to healthcare billing. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Billing Clerk role or related position
• Proficient in Medical Billing, Medicare Billing, and Medicaid Billing
• Demonstrable skills in MS Excel and Invoice Processing
• Familiarity with Payer Requirements and HealthCare Billing
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent required, further education or certification in billing or related field is a plus
