Robert Half International Administrative Assistant in Oakland, California

Madly growing and located in Downtown Oakland, we are seeking an Accounting/Administrative Assistant to join our client's team. Since they are a young company, in reality, this role is a "utility player", able to handle anything that needs organizing and/or addressing. If you are a person who likes to help others get their work done by taking tasks off their desk and plays well with everyone, we would love to hear from you!

Initially their Administrative/Accounting Assistant will organize and handle administrative or clerical duties for the founders managers of the company, as requested. Secondarily, this role may have accounting support duties added, if the candidate demonstrates the aptitude.

These duties may include: ? Data entry, accounting and payroll ? Processing payments ? Maintaining spreadsheets ? Producing reports as requested ? Distributing, preparing and/or mailing mail. ? Organizing equipment ? Answering phones, greeting customers/guests ? Scanning/filing documents to appropriate dropboxes, ? Make appointments as requested file paperwork, ? Managing office supplies ? Ensuring company kitchen is organized, and cleaned-up.

Skills Abilities ? Professional communication skills both verbally and in writing ? Reliable and organized ? Work equally well independently and in teams. ? Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications ? Strong typing skills, 50+ wpm ? Basic mathematical skills ? Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles ? Help desk related skills a plus
