Description

A leading law firm in the East Bay, California, is seeking an experienced Construction Defect Litigation Attorney to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, handling complex construction defect litigation matters and providing high-quality legal services to clients. As a Construction Defect Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the litigation process, from pre-litigation through trial or settlement. You will join a dedicated team focused on achieving favorable outcomes for clients in construction defect disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in construction defect litigation matters, including residential and commercial construction defect cases.

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

  • Manage discovery processes, including the preparation and review of discovery materials.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.

  • Develop case strategies and provide strategic legal advice to clients.

  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive and effective case management.

  • Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned by senior attorneys.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in California.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction defect litigation.

  • Strong understanding of California construction defect laws and regulations.

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Professional demeanor and commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
