Description
Our client, a well-established law firm in California, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to engage in challenging work, providing high-quality legal support and expertise to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of case management, including legal research, pleading drafting, discovery, motion practice, and preparation for litigation.
Prepare and review a variety of legal documents, including motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
Conduct and manage discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and document review.
Provide clear and effective legal counsel to clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Assist in negotiation and settlement discussions, striving for optimal outcomes in dispute resolution.
Support the development and implementation of trial strategies, including witness preparation and evidence organization.
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and court rules throughout the litigation process.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
California State Bar license in good standing.
3+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record in managing complex cases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research skills.
Excellent written and oral communication abilities, with a demonstrated capability in legal drafting.
Proficient in legal technology tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and case management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to client service and ethical practice.
Experience in business litigation, employment law, or real estate litigation is a plus.
