Robert Half Bilingual Medical Receptionist (Spanish) in Oakland, California


Our client in Oakland, CA is seeking a skilled and professional Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Bilingual Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all individuals visiting or contacting their facility.


  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries efficiently

  • Verify patient information and insurance details accurately

  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and coordination of care

  • Provide interpretation services for non-English speaking patients as needed



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish

  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or similar customer service position preferred

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
