A leading biotechnology company in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing and negotiating contracts specific to the life sciences industry to support groundbreaking research and development initiatives. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts related to the life sciences and biotechnology industry. You will play a crucial role in managing contract compliance and mitigating risks while ensuring that all contractual obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including clinical trial agreements, collaboration agreements, licensing agreements, supply agreements, and research agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.

  • Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate contract risks.

  • Manage contract documentation and maintain organized records of all contract-related activities.

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual issues and disputes.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and best practices.

  • Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Contracts Manager in the life sciences or biotechnology industry.

  • Strong understanding of contracts specific to the life sciences industry, including clinical trial agreements, collaboration agreements, licensing agreements, and supply agreements.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area is highly preferred, but remote hybrid schedules will be considered for the right candidate.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
