Robert Half Database Specialist in Oakland, California

Description We are offering an opportunity for a diligent Sr. Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the government sector, based in Oakland, California. This role involves providing extensive administrative support, primarily in dues processing and contract administration, and maintaining accurate membership data.

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting, maintaining, and updating accurate membership data

• Interacting with employers for the collection of member dues

• Processing applications and corresponding with members and staff

• Compiling, maintaining, and updating membership application records, revocations, terminations, dues deductions, adjustments, and other types of information online

• Maintaining and updating all membership data in the Local’s membership database

• Coordinating and organizing the flow of membership data between chapters and field offices

• Maintaining communication with employers and members regarding dues deductions, deletions, additions or problems

• Ensuring appropriate and timely dues rate implementation and rate changes

• Initiating collection procedures on all outstanding balances and contacting employer for delinquent dues and payments

• Assisting the supervisor in coordinating workflow for membership processing and accounting

• Proficiently using technology platforms and assisting on the adoption of the Local’s technology platforms

This role requires skills in communication, public relations, database administration, database management, database software, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Must possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with various departments and stakeholders.

• Experience in Public Relations is essential to effectively manage relationships with the public and other outside entities.

• Proficiency in Database Administration is required, as the role includes the management and maintenance of databases.

• Knowledge and experience in Database Management is crucial to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

• Must be proficient in Database Software to manage and organize data according to the organization's needs.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel is necessary for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
