Description

Robert Half is in search of a skilled and personable Dental Receptionist. As the office's primary contact point, your role in delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring seamless front desk operations will be vital. The perfect candidate should have dental administrative support experience and possess superior communication and organizational skills.

· Ensure a tidy and professional appearance of the office, making necessary adjustments as required. Ensure the daily schedule's accuracy and make it accessible in all treatment rooms.

· Perform end-of-day report reconciliation. Confirm that patients have signed consent forms before being seated for treatment. Collect copays beforehand.

· Respond professionally and promptly to phone calls, emails, and scheduling software.

· Verify due payments on the day sheet and collect from patients.

· Stay updated on doctors' payment plans and conduct necessary follow-ups with patients.

· Calculate patients' financial responsibilities for treatments.

· Educate patients about their financial responsibilities ahead of treatments.

· Encourage patients to accept necessary treatments. Discuss patient concerns regarding payment plans with the doctor.

· Verify insurance meticulously.

· File insurance forms (both paper and electronic forms) quickly and efficiently.

· Track claim payments and ensure receivables are paid within 30 days of filing.

Requirements

Competency in dental office systems and software, such as Curve, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft. Extensive knowledge of medical administrative support procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to manage multiple phone lines and effectively use phone systems. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy. Extraordinary organizational skills with detail orientation. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Team player.
