Our client seeks a Head of Operations to ensure efficient, compliant operations in the retirement industry. Key duties include managing daily activities, exceeding client expectations, promoting teamwork, and developing growth-oriented practices. The role involves close collaboration with the COO to create a positive work culture.

Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise various departments including Real Estate, Alternative Assets, and Regulatory Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance.

  • Lead the implementation of a new system for better efficiency.

  • Encourage teamwork and improvement within the team.

  • Track key performance indicators for decision-making.

  • Provide insights on industry trends and regulations.

  • Help with strategic planning and organization management.

  • Enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Maintain a positive team culture.

  • Oversee training for task coverage.

  • Ensure excellent client service.

  • Support and develop staff through delegation and evaluation.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration

  • 10+ years of management experience in banking, finance, or financial services*

  • Proven success in leading transformational initiatives, especially in system implementation

  • Strong mentorship and team guidance experience

  • Certified IRA Services Professional or Qualified Plan Professional designations are a plus

  • Knowledge of IRA industry regulations.

  • Experience with DocStar and Accutrust Gold systems is preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).

  • Ability to streamline operational processes for efficiency.

  • Attention to detail for precise execution of procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain motivation.

  • Capability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments under time constraints.
