Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Administrator in Oakland, California. In this role, you will be supporting various administrative tasks within the healthcare industry, including auditing HR files, patient charts, and processing medical records. Utilizing your skills in areas such as ADP - Financial Services, Cerner Technologies, and Basic Medical Terminology, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
• Audit HR files to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Review and process patient charts and medical records
• Utilize computer programs for data entry and record keeping
• Utilize EHR SYSTEM for managing electronic health records
• Answer inbound calls, providing necessary information and support to callers
• Perform billing functions as required
• Generate charts and graphs for data presentation
• Administer claims processing and resolution
• Manage operations related to clinical trials
• Use HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems for HR-related tasks
• Review and process EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and other medical records
• Handle tasks related to electronic medical record keeping and medical records review Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role as a Medical Administrator
• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and Cerner Technologies
• Skilled in using computer programs relevant to the role
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM and answering inbound calls
• Familiar with billing functions and claim administration
• Ability to create charts and graphs for data representation
• Understanding of clinical trial operations
• Proficient in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is a must
• Proficient in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and medical records review
• Proficiency in operating Electronic Medical Record systems
• Ability to maintain and manage medical records with confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
