Description
Our client is an established medical office committed to delivering superior patient care. As a Medical Assistant, your role would be pivotal in aiding our medical team to ensure a seamless and efficient patient experience. The perfect candidate should have outstanding communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a sincere passion to assist others.
Key Duties:
Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival.
Support healthcare providers during patient check-ups and procedures.
Document patients' medical background and vital signs.
Prepare and maintain consultation rooms, making sure they are clean and well-equipped.
Administer medication and vaccines as guided by healthcare providers.
Address patient queries and provide details about our services.
Manage payments and process insurance related information.
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and inputting information into databases.
Maintain patient records, ensuring they are correct, current, and kept confidential.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers and familiarity with medical software systems (e.g., EHR/EMR systems)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm
Friendly and compassionate demeanor, with a patient-centric approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
