Robert Half Project Manager in Oakland, California

Description

Our client in Oakland is seeking an interim Project Manager on a remote basis. This role is crucial to our client's operations, involving the development and delivery of training programs for agencies serving elderly and senior residents. You will be coordinating all aspects of their training initiatives, from gathering input from stakeholders to ensuring successful implementation and delivery. This is a short-term (3 months) contract employment opportunity, and is expected to pay $50-$70/hr. depending on experience and work location.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with partner agencies, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather input, identify training needs, and establish program objectives.

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements for each training program.

• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, materials, and technology, to support the execution of training initiatives.

• Collaborate with external vendors or trainers to facilitate the delivery of specialized training sessions, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.

• Manage logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling sessions, coordinating venues or virtual platforms, and arranging necessary equipment or materials.

• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and solicit feedback.

• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of training programs, soliciting participant feedback and making adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilize formal project management and implementations management skills to successfully carry out responsibilities.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Project Management role

• Should possess skills in Formal Project Management

• Experience in Implementations Management is required

• Ability to work in a team and independently when necessary

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in using project management software

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

• Ability to adapt to changing project conditions and to make effective decisions under pressure
