Description We are recruiting a Security Engineer to join our team in Oakland, California. As a Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our security infrastructure, ensuring the safety and integrity of our systems. The position calls for a professional with a strong background in security, stakeholder management, deliverable briefing, SQL queries, vulnerability analysis, and handling internal teams. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust security measures, protocols, and policies.

• Work closely with internal teams to identify, report, and resolve security vulnerabilities.

• Conduct vulnerability analysis and security assessments for all systems.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to system configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.

• Utilize SQL queries and BigQuery to conduct complex data analysis and address security issues.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the deliverables meet the security standards and guidelines.

• Conduct regular security briefings for the team and stakeholders regarding the security status.

• Manage and triage security incidents, and lead the response activities.

• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and programs.

• Continuously monitor and manage customer accounts to detect and prevent potential security breaches. Requirements • Proficiency in Security practices, principles, and technologies

• Ability to work effectively with Stakeholders at various levels

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality Deliverables in a timely manner

• Experience in providing clear and concise Briefings to teams and stakeholders

• Strong knowledge of SQL Queries and database management

• Proficiency in Vulnerability Analysis and risk assessment

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Internal Teams

• Experience in Triage of security incidents

• Ability to produce comprehensive Technical Documentation

• Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and technologies
