Robert Half Collections Specialist in Oakland Park, Florida
Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team based in Oakland Park, Florida. This role involves a focus on maintaining customer relationships and conducting follow-up activities on past due payments. The position operates within a busy, customer-focused environment, requiring solid experience with accounting software systems, customer relationship management, and collections processes.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct diligent follow-ups on past due payments.
• Engage in phone correspondence with customers to collect payments.
• Facilitate customer payment through various portals.
• Post customer payments and maintain up-to-date records.
• Resolve customer inquiries regarding invoices and accounts receivable.
• Answer inbound calls and respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
• Handle upset and canceled customer accounts, aiming to resolve issues and retain business.
• Schedule services as required by the customer.
• Perform basic administrative support tasks as necessary.
• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM tools to manage and track customer accounts. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Accurint
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficient in CRM
• Knowledge of Epic Software
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Experience with Claim Administration
• Knowledge of Collection Processes
