Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper. This role involves managing financial records in a meticulous and organized manner, utilizing various accounting and computing skills. The successful candidate will be expected to handle tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and bookkeeping, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Manage accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Handle accounts receivable duties, including the recording and tracking of all incoming payments.

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to verify the company's records match the bank's records.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping tasks and for maintaining updated records.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including the creation of spreadsheets and reports.

• Carry out month-end close duties, ensuring all financial data for the month is accurate and complete.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or similar role

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis

• Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting purposes

• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and procedures

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately

• Familiarity with Month End Close processes

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to work part-time hours

• Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
