Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our esteemed client's dynamic team in Oceanside, CA. This role involves ensuring the company receives payments for goods and services and properly records the transactions.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts.
Requirements
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
