Description
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Oceanside, New York. This role primarily involves managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating job cost reports. It offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
• Generate detailed job cost reports
• Handle payments to unions and ensure timely completion of union remittance forms
• Maintain and update accounting records using software such as Microsoft Excel
• Provide support in other accounting functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and best practices
• Conduct regular cash flow analyses
• Ensure accurate and timely annual budget preparation
• Utilize various accounting software systems
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Computerized Accounting System
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
