Description
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational activities of our dynamic and rapidly growing oilfield services business in the Permian Basin.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, select, train, assign, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
Manage all aspects of the vehicle and heavy equipment rental fleet, including logistics, maintenance, and repairs.
Communicate operating policies and issues at department meetings.
Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and review job performance.
Plan and review compensation actions, enforce policies, and procedures.
Manage and lead all department managers and their respective product lines.
Lead the safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) departments to ensure compliance and a safe workplace.
Maintain a safe, injury/accident-free workplace environment.
Manage relationships with key vendors.
Facilitate the growth of operational staff and their competencies.
Manage all properties and buildings owned by Amerus Oilfield Solutions.
Manage operational budget, including preventative maintenance and parts departments. Approve spending reports and allocate resources accordingly.
Communicate effectively with business development and financial teams at Amerus.
