Robert Half Staff Accountant in Odessa, Texas
Description We are seeking a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team based in Odessa, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for improving our processes by utilizing your expertise in Microsoft GP Dynamics - Manufacturing model. You will be instrumental in building out our system, extracting data, and interfacing with Excel. This role will work closely with our Director of Manufacturing and report to our CFO.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize your experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics - Manufacturing model to enhance our system and processes
• Extract data and interface with Excel to ensure accurate and efficient data management
• Collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing to enhance system efficiency
• Leverage your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries to maintain accurate financial records
• Handle Month End Close processes diligently and accurately
• Use your knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting to provide valuable insights and improvements
• Utilize MS Great Plains Dynamics for various accounting tasks
• Report to the CFO, providing regular updates and reports on accounting activities. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations.
• Knowledge of General Ledger operations.
• Proficient in making Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures.
• Familiarity with Dynamics GP software.
• Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Great Plains Dynamics software is a must.
