Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Professional Services industry. The role is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and will involve various accounting and administrative tasks, including court filing errands.
Responsibilities:
• Manage court filing errands three days a week
• Assist with accounting and administrative duties as required
• Maintain and update financial records and documents
• Process and monitor customer credit applications
• Manage and resolve customer credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action for delinquent payments
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial compliance guidelines
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth financial operations
• Utilize relevant accounting software and tools to streamline processes
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the accounting field. Requirements • Proficiency in general accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience in handling court filings and legal documents
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role within the Professional Services industry is a plus.
