Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Description
Well established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable roles, with a strong background in financial management and team leadership. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department.
Manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
Review and approve payment batches in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable management.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
