Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cable Technician based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role is primarily in the field, requiring significant travel, and is within the corporate office industry. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for running cables and installations, with a particular emphasis on maintaining high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct cable installations and configurations, ensuring all systems are operating correctly.
• Travel extensively for various projects, demonstrating adaptability and time management skills.
• Maintain and repair cable systems as needed, providing efficient solutions to technical issues.
• Utilize skills in Cabling and Fiber Optics to deliver high-quality services.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures, ensuring all installations are conducted in a secure manner.
• Use MSI - Microsoft Installer for various installation processes, demonstrating proficiency in software management.
• Maintain open and clear communication with team members about project progress and any potential issues.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide technical support when necessary.
• Ensure all installations and services align with company standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of all installed cables and systems. Requirements • Proficiency in Cabling and Fiber Optics is mandatory
• Experience with MSI - MicroSoft Installer is highly desirable
• Candidates must be able to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
• Strong problem-solving abilities are required
• Familiarity with standard tools, equipment, and procedures used in cable installation and repair
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as required
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
