Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry in OKC, Oklahoma. The selected candidate will be primarily tasked with overseeing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading the development of accounting procedures, and providing financial insights. This role also involves cash flow management, tax compliance, and the identification of process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the production of financial statements, including balance sheets and income reports.
• Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Uphold adherence to accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of accounting procedures and controls.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, performing financial analysis as necessary.
• Monitor financial variances and provide insightful reports to management.
• Manage cash flow and financial planning effectively.
• Handle internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Oversee tax compliance and aid in tax preparation processes.
• Ensure company policies, GAAP, and other relevant financial regulations are adhered to.
• Identify and seize opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Support the formulation and implementation of internal control procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry.
• Proficient in using NetSuite for various financial tasks and processes.
• Demonstrated ability in managing cash flow, including creating forecasts, management, and generating reports.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting for business financial needs.
• Familiarity with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Proven track record in handling year-end audits and year-end close processes.
• Ability to consolidate financial statements, providing a comprehensive view of financial status.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
