Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a CPA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves providing financial information and advice, preparing tax returns, bookkeeping, and corresponding with various entities. You will be part of a dynamic team in the financial industry, handling crucial tasks that help maintain corporate operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare individual, partnership, federal, and corporate tax returns efficiently and accurately.
• Develop worksheets and exhibits for business valuations or litigation matters.
• Manage bookkeeping functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
• Correspond with the Internal Revenue Service and Oklahoma Tax Commission, handling inquiries and providing necessary information.
• Utilize financial software such as Ultra Tax and QuickBooks for data management and reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and work papers, ensuring they comply with financial standards and regulations.
• Monitor and update customer credit records, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Process customer credit applications, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain a high level of financial confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
Requirements • Must hold a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA role or similar.
• Proficiency in preparing various types of tax returns including Individual Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, Federal Tax Return, and Partnership Tax Returns.
• Demonstrated experience in Financial Statement preparation.
• Knowledge of Bookkeeping Functions is essential.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Ultra Tax.
• Proven ability to prepare and maintain Work Papers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
