Robert Half Director of Revenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Description A dynamic and private equity backed healthcare company, with operations spanning across Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfil the role of Director of Revenue Cycle.
As the Director of Revenue Cycle, you will assume a pivotal role in creating and managing the internal revenue cycle systems and processes from scratch. Key responsibilities involve supervising billing accounts and swiftly resolving any issues within the revenue cycle.
Your role will entail managing the billing teams and facilitating consistent communication with insurance, collections, cash posting, and billing transactions with clients. Essential to your function is the generation of comprehensive reports. You will play a vital role in guaranteeing the smooth operation of the revenue cycle, identifying faults in billing systems promptly, and implementing the necessary rectifications.
While a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) certification is preferred, the crux of the role lies in the ability to immersively understand the revenue cycle and drive its operational excellence.
Ideal Experience includes:
MUST have healthcare experience
5+ years of coding, collections, and full cycle revenue
management experience
Urgent Care Experience is preferred
Previous experience leading a large team
Degree is required (Accounting or other business related)

• Proficiency in accounting software systems.
• Solid understanding and experience with accounting functions.
• Experience in managing accounts receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with billing functions, specifically in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing procedures and standards.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare claims processing.
• Proven experience in hospital billing procedures.
• Familiarity with urgent care billing requirements.
• Experience in collections management and follow-up.
• Proficiency in KPI reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with athenahealth software is a plus.
