Description
Robert Half has partnered with a healthcare client in their search for a financial analyst. The Financial Analyst will be a key partner in helping to build internal finance reporting processes and business strategy development in a growing company. This person will conduct financial analyses to assess the company’s short and long-term goals and will report to the Financial Analysis Supervisor. Responsibilities include:
Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of forecast models
Perform monthly and annual financial statement reviews
Develop and maintain financial reports to communicate actual results, forecasted performance and variances to forecasted plans and budgets
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions
Assist with the build-out of monthly dashboards and reporting tools
Develop/maintain an understanding of critical access cost-based reimbursement and cost reports
Possess a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and general ledger analysis
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field.
3+ years of relevant financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting.
3+ years of previous healthcare experience preferred.
Experience with healthcare billing, coding and revenue cycle management practices very beneficial.
Proficiency with technology tools including SQL, report writing, database design and query strongly preferred
