Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our company's network infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.
Planned, configured, and maintained network hardware and software components.
Evaluate and recommend network technologies and solutions to enhance performance and security.
Network Implementation and Maintenance:
Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
Conduct regular system upgrades and patch management.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security.
Perform security assessments and vulnerability assessments.
Network Optimization and Performance:
Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and performance issues.
Optimize network configurations to improve efficiency and reliability.
Monitor network traffic and bandwidth utilization.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration files.
Generate reports on network performance, uptime, and security incidents.
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams.
Participate in on-call rotation for network-related emergencies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
