Description Established real estate construction company located in Moore is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will aid in providing management with financial information through performing various accounting duties.
Job Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process accounts payable invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Regularly reconcile bank accounts as well as other balance sheet accounts, rectifying any discrepancies.
• Prepare construction loan draws and manage requests as needed.
• Record new property acquisitions and property sales with high accuracy.
• Compile and record month-end journal entries, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.
• Assist with the preparation of annual audits, helping streamline the auditing process.
• Prepare routine financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely data representation.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 3+years of related experience. Strong understanding of excel- comfortable with compiling and analyzing large data sets is preferred. Must be comfortable with change and committed to continual process improvement.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to take initiative
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
