Description
A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Tax Manager to join the company. This Tax Manager will be an expert in tax returns and financial statements and have strong skills in Excel and tax software. This is a role for an experienced Tax Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Major responsibilities
Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies
Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Help review all financial statements for quality control
Prepare and examine complex income tax returns
Assist in planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Assist in the review and oversight of the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Communicate tax best business practices to accounting managers and staff accountants
Put together and analyze tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Requirements
-4 years' experience in tax accounting
CPA preferred
2+ years of supervisory experience
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
