Robert Half IT Support Analyst in Olive Branch, Mississippi

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Olive Branch, Mississippi. In this role, you will be tasked with training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs, monitoring system performance metrics, maintaining databases, and ensuring system security. This role will be within a telecom provider industry and will require a proactive approach to identifying and resolving IT issues.

Responsibilities:

• Train end-users on the functionality of hardware and software programs, ensuring they can successfully navigate and utilize the systems.

• Resolve logged errors in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and disruption to operations.

• Monitor hardware, software, and system performance metrics to ensure optimal system performance.

• Update computer software as necessary and perform hardware and system upgrades when required.

• Maintain databases, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.

• Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.

• Document processes and perform diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.

• Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT support, implementing new technologies where beneficial.

• Use your knowledge of Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support, TCP/IP, and Basic Network Troubleshooting for effective problem resolution.

• Maintain LAN - Local Area Network to ensure reliable connectivity for end-users. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support roles

• Demonstrable skills and experience in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies

• Experience with EO/IR systems and Mac Computers

• Proficient in Microsoft applications and Active Directory

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Experience in Deployments and Deskside Support

• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Basic Network Troubleshooting

• Familiarity with LAN - Local Area Network

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Demonstrable customer service skills and a customer-oriented attitude
