Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Olivette, Missouri. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, maintaining precise records, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This is a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry of accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process vendor payments and expense reports, ensuring correct coding and authorization

• Maintain precise data within the accounting system, including vendor information and payment details

• Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries related to accounts payable and other financial activities

• Reconcile accounts payable accounts and troubleshoot discrepancies or issues as they arise

• Support the finance team in preparing for month-end close, including account reconciliations and reporting

• Assist in handling customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on their status

• Utilize various software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing

• Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed throughout the contract period. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Demonstrated ability to perform check runs

• Experience in coding invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficient in invoice processing

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Experience using QuickBooks

• Proficiency in SAP software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
