Robert Half Human Resource Business Partner in Olympia, Washington

Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for a major healthcare provider to join our team in Olympia, Washington. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be instrumental in implementing HR best practices, improving our business outcomes, and providing strategic HR support to our teams and employees across multiple programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the implementation of HR strategies that drive engagement and retention, improve performance, support employee development, and facilitate learning and development.

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and the fair, equitable, and practical application of our policies and procedures.

• Handling employee relations matters, including investigations, performance reviews, and leave administration.

• Managing hiring processes, onboarding, and orientations in collaboration with designated teams at location sites.

• Addressing compensation and benefits inquiries and guiding programs to understand best practices.

• Conducting training and development sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

• Utilizing MS Office and UKG Pro for various HR tasks.

• Coordinating with HR Regional and other HR Business Partners for streamlined operations.

• Navigating through Washington state Human Resource policies.

• Facilitating change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner with a minimum of five years in the field

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of benefit functions, including compensation & benefits and benefits coordination

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with compliance procedures and HR compliance

• Experience in employee relations and managing employee relations investigations

• Proficiency in hiring processes, onboarding, and new employee orientation

• Advanced user of UKG Pro and MS Office

• Knowledge of change management strategies and their implementation

• Experience in performance management and conducting performance reviews

• Ability to conduct and analyze surveys for employee feedback and career development

• Familiarity with HR policy and its administration

• Experience in workers compensation, family medical leave, and leave administration

• Strong understanding and experience in human resources administration

• Experience in HR-related medical leave procedures.
