Description We are in the process of recruiting an HR Recruiter for our team in the healthcare industry, located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is essential in assisting recruiters and hiring managers in the recruitment and selection process of new employees and internal applicants.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers in screening, referrals, and job offer processes
• Provide administrative support in sourcing candidates
• Actively participate in onboarding and retention activities
• Create and maintain dynamic job postings on various job portals
• Manage and maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring applicant information is up-to-date
• Conduct initial applicant screenings and coordinate interview schedules
• Ensure HR practices and federal and state labor and employment laws are complied with
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Perform administrative tasks such as managing paperwork and conducting background checks
• Engage actively with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
• Assist in organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings Requirements
• Must have prior experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry
• Proven experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role in Human Resources
• Familiarity with Applicant Track System and Background Checks
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is preferred
• Proficiency in Careerbuilder, CRM, and About Time software
• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc)
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, Drug Screens, etc)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Strong decision-making skills
• Knowledge of labor legislation with an emphasis on medical and healthcare industries
• Ability to design and implement recruiting strategies
• Experience with Onboarding and Benefit Functions
• High School Diploma / associate's degree preferred
