Description We are seeking a Legal Secretary with expertise in franchise law to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. The chosen candidate will be a crucial part of our Senior Care industry, providing vital support to our attorneys and business partners to ensure adherence to franchise laws and regulations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the company's Franchise Disclosure Document is in compliance
• Provide support during the franchise sales and transfer process
• Manage franchisee renewals
• Assist in standards enforcement
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate franchisee records
• Utilize Aderant and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for case management
• Handle billing functions and calendar management to ensure smooth operations
• Foster positive client relations and effectively address inquiries
• Leverage knowledge of franchise law in daily tasks and responsibilities
• Use CompuLaw for efficient legal operations and client service. Requirements • Must possess excellent skills in Aderant software
• Proficiency in Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is mandatory
• Familiarity with Case Management Software is essential
• CompuLaw software skills are required
• Should be able to handle Billing Functions proficiently
• Proficient in Briefing and Calendar Management
• Must have excellent Client Relations skills
• Knowledge in Consumer Electronics is a plus
• Experience in Franchise Law is required
• Must have prior experience in a Senior Care industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational skills are crucial
• Should demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
