Description
We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst in the oil and gas industry, based in OMAHA, Nebraska, United States. This position involves compiling and preparing financial reports, focusing on expense information and providing meaningful variance analysis. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Compile and prepare financial reports such as monthly forecasts, quarterly reviews, and ten-year plans
• Conduct variance analysis of actual performance compared to the plan, forecast, and prior period actuals
• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze financial data
• Use ERP solutions and CRM to manage and analyze customer data
• Understand and apply knowledge of CapEx in financial analysis
• Perform accounting functions and budget processes as required
• Handle expense reporting and finance-related tasks.
Requirements
• Experience with data mining techniques is required
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary
• Knowledge of the software Oracle Fusion is a plus
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions is essential
• Experience with budget processes is vital
• Expertise in expense reporting is required
• Must have previous experience in finance within the Gas industry
• A senior role, therefore, previous experience as a Financial Analyst is necessary.
