Description
We have a vacancy for a Corporate Tax Director position for a permanent opportunity. As a Tax Director, your primary focus will be to handle all federal, state and local income taxes and deals with property, franchise, and sales/use tax. We are looking for candidates that possess excellent analytical skills and enjoy working in a family-owned and operated environment to support the successful growth of the company. Your responsibilities in this role:
Calculation of monthly and quarterly tax provision
Annual external audit and tax filings
Federal, state and local tax
Sales and use tax
Excise tax
Corporate and Individual tax
Support special projects
Requirements
The ideal Tax Director candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration.
Other requirements for the Tax Director position include and are not limited to:
8+ years Corporate Tax accounting experience, preferably in a construction/petroleum environment and/or public accounting.
Proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel)
Experience in accounting for income taxes
Knowledge of both federal and state tax compliance
