The Medicare Customer Service Representative will be working with one of our top Healthcare clients in Ontario, CA. The Medicare Customer Service Representative will be working in a call center setting. As an Medicare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the following job functions:

  1. Receive and record customer concerns via phone. Acts to resolve concerns in accordance for corporate guidelines and standards for all areas of claims authorizations and IPA functionality.

2 Ability to interpret provider and health plan contracts to ensure accurate responses to calls

  1. Follow and support the guidelines set by the department and organization to ensure overall goals are met

  2. Foster interpersonal relationships showing empathy and understanding towards staff protecting individual self-esteem. Understand own impact on others interact effectively with peers subordinates and supervisors

  3. Any other assigned duties as delegated by the Customer Service Supervisor

Requirements

  1. Minimum of three years experience in Medicare and HMO environment

  2. Minimum of three years of previous customer service experience

  3. Ability to interpret provider and health plan contracts

  4. PC proficient in a windows environment to include Microsoft word Outlook and Excel

  5. Good grammar voice and diction

  6. High School Diploma or GED
