Do you have a manufacturing, retail or distribution industry background? In this role, you will be conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. The Sr. Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity in the Ontario, California area. How you will make an impact
Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources
Compose and oversee forecasting reports
Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary
Support Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI) Requirements - Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
5+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Financial analysis experience desired

Foundational knowledge in budget forecasting
Gross Margin Analysis experience preferred
Adeptness in sales analysis & reporting
