Robert Half Logistics Coordinator in Opa Locka, Florida
Description We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator based in Opa Locka, Florida, 33054, United States. This role involves coordinating and overseeing our company's logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of products and services. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of business systems and ERP solutions, and will play a key role in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics
• Supervise, coach, and train the logistics team
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Leverage skills in business systems, Cargowise, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to effectively perform tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in a logistics coordination role or similar position
• Proficiency in business systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions
• Familiarity with Cargowise and CRM software
• Understanding of billing functions within the logistics sector
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional customer service skills and experience in handling customer queries
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Ability to utilize 'About Time' software effectively
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving aptitude, able to handle unexpected situations efficiently
• Availability to work in different shifts, if required.
